Capital dislocations frequently affect the RE markets as follows:
1. By under-performing loans which must be monetized and / or restructured.
2. By unsustainable capital structures which need recapitalization, rationalization and better management.
3. By oversold markets or property types resulting in significant misprices.
Debt is usually the catalyst/driver for change and real estate is the tool. Our strategy is based on value investing, i.e., on tangible factors like hard assets and cash flows.
We actively manage our investments.
